BOE okays 5.7% pay hike

An increase in state funding has allowed the USD 466 (Scott County) board of education to give its employees a 5.7 percent pay increase for the 2017-18 school year.

That’s one of the largest single- year pay increases granted to employees in recent history, following a one percent hike in 2015 and a two percent increase in 2016. During that two year period, state funding had been frozen at the same level as the district received in 2014.
