New center gives joy to those who need it most

Entering the new Western Kansas Child Advocacy Center in Scott City one is greeted by a menagerie of stuffed animals.

The animal theme is a familiar one throughout each of the CAC locations across Western Kansas. The circus theme delights these young victims of sexual abuse.

“From the moment kids step through the front door we want them to feel a sense of joy,” says WKCAC director Kelly Robbins.
