Lake Scott closes out the summer with huge turnout

Greg Mills has seen a lot of big weekends at Lake Scott State Park, but nothing can compare with this past Labor Day weekend.

“I can guarantee this was the busiest holiday weekend I’ve seen in my 18 years,” says the park manager.

The three-day weekend saw 5,763 visitors with revenue of about $10,600 - both records.
