SC grads reflect on old memories, prepare to build new ones

Change is inevitable in life and for 59 Scott Community High School graduates a new chapter began as they received their diplomas before a packed gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.

“In the upcoming months, all of us will be experiencing the six letter word - change,” noted Cindy Araiza, one of three honor students who addressed her fellow students and the crowd.

She said that students will soon be taking on more responsibility and making their own choices, “like who we want to be (and) what we stand for.”
