USD 466 hopes it strikes right note with musical chairs
Music staff in the Scott County school district (USD 466) will need to be shuffled around during the upcoming school year in order to compensate for the loss of a teacher.
The district has been unable to fill the position of Scott City Middle School vocal music director since the resignation of Jodi Reese last spring.
“The resignation came in late so that made it more difficult to fill the position,” says Supt. Jamie Rumford. “I think there might have been people interested, but they’d already made a commitment elsewhere.”
