USD addressing policy issues, awareness with rise in vaping

There seems to be little doubt that school officials have a lot of catching up to do in order to understand to what level vaping exists with young people and how it should be confronted as a health issue and with respect to school policy.

Scott Community High School Principal Brad McCormick says vaping has become a much bigger topic during the past year due to more media attention - particularly with the growing number of deaths related to vaping products.

A year ago that wasn’t the case.
