The 51st annual Whimmydiddle arts and crafts festival will bring thousands of visitors and shoppers to Scott City this Saturday.
The Scott City Police Department and Scott County EMS have been awarded more than $206,500 through the Kansas Governor’s Grant Program for the purchase of communications equipment.
A powwow, community cookout and Native American performances will be part of a full day of activities on Saturday when Scott City recognizes the 145th anniversary of the Battle of Punished Woman’s Fork.
