Administration within the Scott County school district and local health officials have been coordinating their response to “probable” coronavirus cases involving students in two buildings.
The longest spring break in school history officially ended when in-person instruction returned to the Scott County school district with the start of a new school year on Tuesday.
The Scott City Council didn’t have to wait long to figure out what to do with the recently vacated Scott Recreation Commission office at the corner of 9th Street and US83 Highway.
Scott Community High School students have the opportunity to take more classes this fall with a class schedule that’s been expanded from a seven hour day to eight hours.
There will be less opportunity for students to socialize with each other indoors and seating charts will become the norm when Scott City Middle School opens its doors on Tuesday.
