Scott County has been allocated $132,000 in coronavirus relief funds that will be distributed among local businesses to provide some financial relief from the shutdown during the pandemic.
Scott City took another step towards reopening as part of the coronavirus pandemic when the city pool opened to a limited number of swimmers on Wednesday. Among those enjoying a break from 95-degree heat was six-year-old Sadie Carter. Only 23 swimmers during four sessions will be allowed through the rest of this week, increasing to 38 swimmers on June 8.
