Anita M. McCollum
Anita M. McCollum, 65, died Sept. 27, 2018, at the Scott County Hospital, Scott City. She was born Dec. 31, 1952, in Garden City, the daughter of Richard Alexander and Margaret Pearl (Meis) McCollum. A lifetime resident of Scott City, she worked for Wheatland Electric for 41 years before retiring in December 2017. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Scott County Historical Society and Relay for Life. Survivors include two brothers, Tom McCollum and John McCollum, both of Scott City; two sisters, Patricia Hoeme and husband, Robert, and Judy Browning and husband, Don, all of Scott City; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral service was held Oct. 3 at the First Christian Church, Scott City, with Pastor Steve Payne presiding. Burial was in the Scott County Cemetery.
