Bobby Gene Miller

Bobby Gene Miller, 75, went to be with the Lord on June 16, 2018, at the United Methodist Church, Lubbock, Tex. H e was born on March 7, 1943, in Strong City, Ks., the son of Glen and Esther Miller. He belonged to the Cowboy Church in Lubbock, Tex. He worked as a cowboy at Brookover Cattle in Scott City, Ks., until he moved to Texas where he was a cowboy at Lubbock Feedyard. He later drove a truck for Floyd Trucking. Bobby was always a cowboy at heart. He enjoyed roping, riding and anything country. He had a passion for anything outdoors, boating and fishing and was an avid gardener. He loved to take his wife out dancing and was great at two-stepping. On April 14, 2007, he married Tricia Brown in Lubbock, Tex. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Susan Amack and husband, J.C., of Scott City, and Tracey Patton and husband, Sam, Emporia, Ks.; one son, Glen Miller, Loup City, Nebr.; two step-sons, Terry Conklin and wife, Jocelyn, Emporia, and Michael Treadwell and wife, Sonja, Albuquerque, N.M.; one step-daughter, Marica Reilly and husband, Bob, Ord, Nebr.; one brother, Kenny Miller, and wife, Jeanice, Emporia; 24 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Monty Miller; one step-son, Scott Studebaker; four brothers, Harold Dean Miller, Paul Miller, Keith Miller and Donald Miller; and four sisters, Joann Starks, Betty Henderson, Gladys Thompson and Glenda Mae Rickstrew.
