Delmar D. Post
Delmar D. Post, 80, died Feb. 10, 2020, at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City.
He was born on March 7, 1939, in Osborne, the son of James O. and Lenna (Gregory) Post.
Delmar had been a resident of Scott City since 1964. He ran the Deep Rock Service Station in Scott City for many years and then worked for Ashley Luke for 28-1/2 years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1961-63, and was a member of the VFW.
Survivors include his son, Doug Post and wife, Donna, Anderson, S.C.; three brothers, Doyle Post, Plainville, Edson Post, Bel Aire, and Charles Post, Concordia; two grandsons; Brian Post and Joshua Post, Anderson, S.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ronald, James and Emery Post; and one sister, Vola Collins.
A memorial service will be held on Sat., Feb. 15, 10:00 a.m., at Price and Sons Funeral Home 401 S. Washington, Scott City, with Ron Post presiding.
A private family inurnment will be held at the Plainville Cemetery in Plainville.
