Donald Arthur Fred Wiechman
Donald Arthur Fred Wiechman, 84, died on Feb. 1, 2020, at the Scott County Hospital, Scott City.
He was born on June 7, 1935, in Scott City, the son of John and Hilda Koch Wiechman.
A lifetime resident of Scott City, he was a farmer, excellent woodworker, and an avid Scott City Beavers supporter. He was a member of
He was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Scott City, and served as an Army National Guardsman for six years.
On Sept. 28, 1958, he married Marlo Nickelson in Scott City. She survives. Other survivors include
Other survivors include a son, Troy Wiechman and wife, Tina, Sterling Heights, Mich.; a daughter, Zoe Bowling and husband, Lyman, Winfield; a brother, Jerry Wiechman and wife, Joyce, Scott City; two sisters, LaVera King, Scott City, and Velda Riddiough and husband, Milt, Scott City; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Marvin and Martin Wiechman; and two sisters, Geneva Faurot and LuElla Erskin.
Funeral service was Feb. 2 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Scott City, with Pastor Warren Prochnow presiding.
Interment was in the Scott County Cemetery.
