Dorothy Lindsay, 93, died July 27, 2018, in Topeka. S h e was born Feb. 19, 1925, the daughter of Thomas Norman and Louise Becker. She graduated from Oskaloosa High School. She worked as a cook for the Oskaloosa school district. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Circle at church. On Jan. 27, 1944, she married Ray Lindsay. He died May 28, 2017. Survivors include: one daughter, Evelyn Hogg, and husband, Rodney, Scott City; three sons, Kenneth Lindsay and wife, Sally, McPherson, Michael Lindsay and wife, Ellen, Windsor, Colo., and Chris Lindsay and wife, Kimberly, Woodland, Wash.; eight grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and three brothers. A memorial service will be held Wed., Aug. 8, 10:30 a.m., at the First Presbyterian Church, Clay Center. Interment will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery.
