Ethel Lucile McClure

Ethel Lucile McClure, 91, died Feb. 15, 2018, at Hays Medical Center. She was born Sept. 17, 1926 , in Hill City, the daughter of Ora Guy and Dollie (Cullum) McCoy. She moved to Scott City in 2007 where she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Prairie View Church of the Brethren, Friend, and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. On Sept. 18, 1942, she married Henry I. Mc- Clure. He died April  14, 2010. Survivors include: one son, Dennis Henry Mc- Clure and wife, Marilyn, Decatur, Ill.; two daughters, Gail Bradshaw and husband, Dave, Newport, Ore., and Colleen Beaton and husband, John, Scott City; seven grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Patricia Mc- Clure; one great-grandson, Lawson Beaton; two brothers and four sisters. Funeral service was held on Feb. 21 at the United Methodist Church with Pastor Jon Tuttle officiating. A graveside service was held Feb. 21 at the Luray City Cemetery, Luray, with Dennis McClure officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Prairie View Church of the Brethren in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home, Box 553, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Ks. 67871.
