Frances D. Weibert
Frances D. Weibert, 102, died on March 4, 2019, at Park Lane Nursing Home, Scott City.
She was born on July 16, 1916, in Everton, Mo., the second oldest of six Frances Weibert children born to Wilson “Ovid” and Zella (Drisdel) McMillen.
On March 7, 1949, she married Alex Weibert. He died Aug. 18, 1984.
While living in Wichita she worked at Cessna and he worked for Boeing.
They moved to Scott City where he was a farmer and custom harvester and she retired as assistant Scott County treasurer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Gary; four brothers, Dale, Berl, David and Clarence “Bull” McMillen; and one sister, Alma Morris.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mary Ann Gaylord, Honolulu, Hi.; one grandson, Ross Gaylord, St. Petersburg, Fla.; and one granddaughter, Carlie Weibert, Houston, Tex.
Funeral service will be Fri., March 8, 10:30 a.m., at Price and Sons Funeral Home in Scott City with Rev. Kyle Evans presiding.
There will be no calling times. Internment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
