Geraldine Kay ‘Gerri’ Taylor

Geraldine Kay “Gerri” Taylor, 75, died April 9, 2018, at the Wichita County Health Center, Leoti. She was born Nov. 24, 1942 , in Ransom, the daughter of Glenn D. and Dorothy Eileen (Grate) Cooley. She was a homemaker and a resident of Leoti since 1947. On Jan. 4, 1972, she married Robert M. Taylor in Leoti. He died July 30, 2014. Survivors include: one son, Robert Taylor, Leoti; four daughters, Martha Vallejo, and husband, Sam, Leoti, Debbie Young, Garden City, Glenita Nodine, Colby, and Sheila Edwards and husband, Kevin, El Dorado; one brother, Roger Cooley and wife, Toni, Scott City; two sisters, Phyllis Black and husband, Frank, Edson, and Diana Fahrenholtz and husband, Daniel, Granby, Colo.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dale Cooley. Friends may call Fri., April 13, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Price and Sons Funeral Home in Leoti. Funeral service will be Sat., April 14, 10:30 a.m., at Abundant Life Fellowship Church, Leoti, with Pastor Dustin Fritzmeier officiating. Burial will be in the Leoti Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to the Wichita County Health Center or Leoti EMTs in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home, Box 161, 202 N. 4th St., Leoti, Ks. 67861. E-condolences may be sent to
