Glenna M. Strickler
Glenna M. Strickler, 94, died Feb. 16, 2019, at The Ranch House, Garden City.
She was born Oct. 23, 1924, in Irwin, Mo., the daughter of William and Lenior (Peacock) Ford.
She had been a resident of Scott City since 1950, moving from Irwin, Mo. She moved to Garden City in 2016.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and the Scott County VIP Center in Scott City.
On June 6, 1943, she married Rassie Andrew Strickler in Fort Scott. He died May 27, 1962.
Survivors include: one son, Lee Strickler, Mobile, Ala.; one daughterin-law, Nori Hendrix, Mobile, Ala.; two granddaughters and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Fri., Feb. 22, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Price and Sons Funeral Home, Scott City.
Funeral service will be held Sat., Feb. 23, 10:30 a.m., at Price and Sons Funeral Home with Steve Payne presiding.
Internment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
