Harry ‘Conrad’ Kough

Harry “Conrad” Kough, 87, died Feb. 25, 2018, at his home in Scott City. H e was born Oct. 1, 1930, in Wichita County, the son of Blair and Thressa Kough. A lifelong resident of Wichita County and Scott City, he was a retired farmer, realtor, and motel owner and operator. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Scott City, and a past member of the Pence Community Church. On June 1, 1952, he married Betty Ann Ryan in Scott City. She survives. Other survivors include: three sons, Dan Kough and wife, Evelyn, Steve Kough and wife, Flossie, and Bryan Kough and wife, Brenda, all of Scott City; two daughters, Sherri Baker and husband, Kenny, Scott City, and Lisa Schroeder and Kriss, Colby; 31 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Nancy Kough; and two grandsons, Justin Schroeder and Nicholas Kough. Visitation will be Fri., March 2, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Price and Sons Funeral Home, Scott City. Funeral service will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Kyle Evans presiding. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the Scott County VIP Center or First Baptist Church in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home, Box 553, 401 S.
