John Robert Cupp
John Robert Cupp, 70, died at his home on Jan. in Dighton.
He was born on May 1, 1950, in Ordway, Colo., the son of George and Mary (Bonham) Cupp.
A resident of Dighton since 1991, moving from Amarillo, Tex., he was a retired feedlot foreman.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Scott City.
On June 2, 2009, he married Dorsi Hutchins in Scott City. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Katie John and husband, Josh, Scott City; one son, Brad Cupp and wife, Sara, Highlands two Jeannie Dean and husband, Lynn, Idaho Falls, Ida., and Mary Cook and husband, Wayne, Gove; one brother, Ed Cupp and wife, Deva, Scott City; two step-daughters, Kendra Stoppel and husband, Kelly, Scott City, and Karyn Hendrix and husband, Matt, Scott City; one step-son, Casey Vetter and wife, Jeanie, Scott City; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral service was held Feb. 5 at the First Baptist Church, Scott City, with Rev. Kyle Evans presiding.
