Loyd ‘Bob’ James Keenan
Loyd “Bob” James Keenan, 84, died Aug. 13, 2018, at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Kearney, Nebr. He was born on Sept. 2, 1933, in Jennings , the son of Edger James and Ellen “Ruth” (Harris) Keenan. He graduated from Jennings High School in 1951. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and worked as an airplane mechanic. Later, he started a heavy equipment business and went on to work as a supervisor of the Decatur County Road and Bridge Department. On May 15, 1959, he married Lila Adams in Jennings. She survives. Other survivors include: one son, Ricky James Keenan and wife, Pamela, Norton; three daughters, Debbie Ayers and husband, Richard, Dodge City, Kathy Harms and husband, Roy, Scott City, and Tammy Touslee and husband, Rick, Oberlin; one sister-in-law, Imogene Keenan; 14 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and several relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Neil Keenan and Boyd Keenan; two sisters, Dorothy Davis and Edna Smith; one grandson, Dustin; and two great grandchildren, Natalee and Jagar. Funeral service was held Aug. 17 at Pauls Funeral Home, Oberlin. Burial was held in the Clayton Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to the Loyd J.
