Merton Lynn Goodman
Merton Lynn Goodman, 69, died March 9, 2019, at the Scott County Hospital, Scott City.
He was born Dec. 14, 1949, in Norton, the son of Merton Ferris and Dorothy Dean (Davis) Goodman.
A resident of Scott City since 1975, moving from Clayton, he was a grazing manager for Brookover Cattle Company until he retired.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church.
On Nov. 23, 1966, he married Sheryl Sue Rowh in Oberlin. She survives.
Other survivors include: one son, Craigg Goodman, Scott City; one daughter, Mishele R. Prieto and husband, Carlos, Garden City; five sisters, Linda Sulzman, Russell, Marcia Stapp and husband, Larry, Holcomb, Xandra Waggoner and husband, Chuck, Morland, Tina Perdue, La-Crosse, and Kendra Giebler and husband, Curt, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two daughters, Tracy Lee Goodman and Teressa Dawn Goodman.
Memorial service will be held Sat., March 16, 2:00 p.m., at Price and Sons Funeral Home with Sheldon Snyder presiding.
Inurnment will be in the Clayton Cemetery.
