Richard D. Buehler
Richard D. Buehler, 76, died Jan. 19, 2020, at his home in Scott City.
He was born on Dec. 5, 1943, in Scott City, the son of Norman Clark and Eleanor Marie (Wren) Buehler.
A lifetime resident of Scott City, Richard was the owner and operator of the John Deere dealership, B&B Implement, from 1968 until retiring in 1990. He was also a farmer.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge No. 284, Scott County Shrine Club, and Beavers Booster Club, all of Scott City.
On May 31, 1964, he married Rita J. Neeley in Dighton. She died Sept. 18, 2019, in Scott City.
Survivors include: two sons, Darin Buehler and wife, Robin, Scott City, and Shane Buehler, Kearney, Nebr.; two daughters, Tara Buehler, Aurora, Colo., and Richel Stagner and husband, Curtis, Aurora, Colo.; one brother, Jon Buehler, and wife, LuAnn, Scott City; two sisters, Janice Storm and husband, Vernon, Scott City, and Lisa Hanzlicek and husband, Kris, Lawrence; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Funeral service will be held Fri., Jan. 24, 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church, Scott City, with Pastor Jon Tuttle presiding.
