Scot DeWayne Aytes
Scot DeWayne Aytes, 62, died Nov. 23, 2017, at his residence in Scott City. He was born May 21, 1955, in Scott City, the son of Jimmy Wayne and Nathalie Doris (Wagner) Aytes. A lifetime resident of Scott City, he owned Service First Contracting until he retired. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Scott City. Survivors include: two brothers, J. Michael Aytes and wife, Lindsey, Richmond, Mo., and Greg Aytes and wife, Anne, Linwood; one sister, Pamela Wheeler, and husband, Rodney, Scott City; grandfather, Waldo Ehlers, Washington, Mo.; four nephews, three nieces, two aunts, and many great-nieces and nephews. Graveside memorial service was held Nov. 27 at the Scott County Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to the Scot Aytes Memorial Fund in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home, 401 S.
