Steven C. Gruver
Steven C. Gruver, 60, died Nov. 4, 2020, as the result of an automobile accident in Scott County.
H e was born on April 2, 1960, in Scott C i t y , the son of Robert Lee and Elva (Betzold) Gruver.
A lifetime resident of Scott City, he was an electrician and worked for S-K Electric of Scott City.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Scott City.
Survivors include his son, Trevor Gruver, Scott City; one daughter, Kylee Ludowese and husband, Brad, Scott City; one brother; Rodney Gruver and wife, Sue, Mayetta; two sisters; Tina Turley and husband, Roy, Scott City, and Salinda Baker and husband, Gerald, Marienthal; step-mother, Connie Gruver, Scott City; one stepson, Zack Patton, of Texas; one step-brother, Joe Vredenburg, New York, N.Y.; one grandson, Camdone Ludowese, Scott City; and one granddaughter, Kashlynn Ludowese, Scott City.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, and close friends Devon Inguanza, Kurt Norman and J.D. Hickert.
Funeral service was held on Nov. 12 at the First Baptist Church in Scott City with Pastor Don Williams officiating.
