Thomas Heck, 81, died Feb. 16, 2019, at Park Lane Nursing Home, Scott City.
He was born Dec. 26, 1937, in Slope County, N.D., the son of David and Kathryn (Walter) Heck.
A resident of Scott City since 1971, moving from Beach, N.D., he was a retired parts manager for Helmers Motors, Inc., where he worked for 40 years.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Scott City.
On June 27, 1961, he married Selma “Sally” M. Klug in Scott City. She died July 30, 2015.
Survivors include: two sons, Marlin Heck and wife, Marie, Lawrence and Wes Heck and wife, Deborah, Ogallala, Nebr.; one daughter, Melinda Davis and husband, Jamie, Scott City; three brothers, Leo Heck, Avon, Minn., Leonard Heck, Almont, N.D., and David Heck, Jr., Dickinson, N.D.; two sisters, Josephine Stockert and Rita Plegge, both of Dickinson, N.D.; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Clementine Wyman; and one grandson, Christian Davis.
Funeral Mass will be held Fri., Feb. 22, 10:30 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. George Fajardo presiding.
