Valarie Sue Duff

Valarie Sue Duff, 70, died Aug. 31, 2019, at her home in Scott City.

She was born May 2, 1949, in Goodland, the daughter of Clarence and Harris.

She had been a resident of Scott City since 1971, moving from Sharon Springs. She worked at Beef Belt Feeders in the office and drove a feed truck.

She was a member of the Prairie View Church of the Brethren, Friend.

On Dec. 24, 1982, she married David Duff in Sharon Springs. He survives.

Other survivors include: one son, Darren Duff and wife, Kris, Scott City; two daughters, Gina Rodriguez and husband, Michael, Dodge City, and Dina Craft, Scott City; 10 grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren, 11 nephews, one niece and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Daryl Duff; and one sister, Janie Wade.

A celebration of life service will be held Sat., Sept. 14, 2:00 p.m., at the Prairie View Church of the Brethren in Friend with Pastor Jon Tuttle presiding.

There will be no calling times.

Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
