Verl J. Crossman
Verl J. Crossman, 92, died on June 29, 2020, at his home in Shallow Water.
H e was born on Sept. 21, 1928, in Roy, Utah, the son of George Thomas and Effie May (Carson) Crossman.
A resident of Shallow Water since 2015, he was a retired truck driver for the U.S. Army in Tooele, Utah.
In 1954, he married Gayle M. Axton in Provo, Utah. Verl and Gayle raised their family in Fairfield, Utah.
Survivors include his wife, of Shallow Water; a son Verl T. and wife, Monda, Shallow Water; two daughters, Cherie Bishop and husband Tom, American Fork, Utah, and Fern Crossman, Homer, Alaska; four grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and seven sisters.
Graveside service will be held Thurs., July 9, 10:30 a.m., at the Scott County Cemetery with Bill Geurin presiding.
Burial will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
