Marshall Faurot, a former high school state champion who went on to become one of the nation’s top pole vaulters, will conduct a twoday veritcal jumps clinic at the Scott Community High School sports complex.
When former Wichita Collegiate tennis coach Dave Hawley arrived in Scott City last Thursday evening prior to his annual two-day clinic, his first stop was the SCHS tennis courts.
OK Kids Day will be held at Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park on Sat., Aug. 2, from 9:00-11:00 a.m.
By just a 2.5 point margin, the Scott City Stars claimed the Western Kansas Swim Club championship following two days of competition in Garden City last weekend.
The shot clock will be part of basketball post-season play in action taken by the Kansas State High School Activities Association board of directors.
