‘The awe of nature’

Carrell is a natural(ist) fit for Little Jerusalem

Enjoying the outdoors has never been a problem for Sara Kay Carrell.

Whether serving as a volunteer with the Kansas Trails Council, setting cross-state cycling speed records or working for the Natural Resource Conservation Service, Carrell has found a way to pursue her passion for the outdoors.

Her pursuit of the “perfect job” has finally been realized as the newly hired naturalist who will oversee Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park.
