40 points from Rumford, McCormick aren’t enough

On most nights, if the Scott City girls can get 20 point performances from two of their players they are going to be nearly impossible to beat.

Tuesday was not one of those nights.

Lyndi Rumford and Brynn McCormick each had career highs of 20 points each in a showdown between the top two teams in the Great West Activities Conference.

That wasn’t enough in a tough 47-43 loss to Ulysses on the home floor.
