There’s nothing like entering the long Christmas break on a winning note.

Not only did the Scott Community High School boys improve their early season slate to 3-3 following a pre-Christmas rout of Goodland, but the win brought added enthusiasm to the holiday practices that resumed last Friday.

“The practices during the Christmas break have been really good and I think the (Goodland) win had a lot to do with it. I think the guys are real excited about what we’re capable of doing the rest of the season,” says head coach Brian Gentry.
