Broncos surrender to SC’s 56 point offensive barrage

On Military Night, the Russell Broncs had to feel like they had been trampled underfoot by General Wyatt Hayes and his Beaver Army.

Scott City (5-0) rolled over the Broncs (2-3) with 306 rushing yards in the first half and scored on their first six possessions in a 56-7 win.

Hayes (221 yards), who rushed for over 200 yards for the second time this season, had 203 yards by halftime. In addition, quarterback Parker Gooden connected with receivers for 117 yards and a touchdown.
