Everyone contributes in Lady Beaver romp over Broncs

SCHS head coach Sarah McCormick saw an opportunity to work on a lot of different aspects of their game. Friday’s action against Lakin was just what the Lady Beavers were looking for. With everyone on the team getting a lot of playing time, the Scott City girls (8-5) cruised to an easy 54-27 road win over the Lady Broncs. “I felt our defense would set the tone for the night and it did from beginning to end,” says McCormick. “This game gave us a chance to work on a lot of our defense and to get a lot of different players into the game. “With different combinations of girls we had players on the court who weren’t used to always being together. We had a few breakdowns, but overall I was real pleased with the way everyone played.”
