Fish size, numbers continue to favor angling success at Lake Scott

The abundance and variety of fish at Lake Scott is making it a paradise for anglers across Western Kansas.

Saugeye, crappie and bluegill are just some of the varieties that are big in both size and numbers during surveys conducted at the lake last fall and earlier this spring by Dave Spalsbury, fishing biologist with the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism.
