At last!

Vulgamore comes to life in post with 17 points

Through the early start to the season, Scott City’s offense from the post players has been inconsistent at best, and nonexistent at worst.

Parker Vulgamore signalled that may be changing with a career high 17 points and 12 rebounds in a 56-45 win over Ulysses on the home floor Tuesday.

Combined with 11 points and six boards from 6-foot-5 center Joe Evans, it was the most productive game the Beavers (5-3, 3-1) have seen within the paint in more than two seasons.

“What we saw tonight was a lot of hard work paying off,” said head coach Brian Gentry.
