New offense has been SC focus as boys wrap up summer action

Summer hoops has been a chance for the Scott Community High School boys to learn some new and fix some old.

Head coach Brian Gentry has been pleased with the progress made by his varsity unit in learning a new guardoriented offense. Scott City wrapped up summer play on the home floor Monday night and the reason for getting into a league this year was for the opportunity to gain experience with the offense.

“We wanted to rep it out as much as possible,” Gentry says of the offense. “We haven’t focused at all on our defense.”
