SCHS brings high hopes, experience into softball season
After two years of being so close to qualifying for a trip to state - including last season’s 11-inning marathon in the substate title game, the SCHS girls are once again primed to make another run for a state appearance.
But that’s not where head coach Erin Myers wants her girls focused as they prepare for Thursday’s season opener against Goodland.
“I feel that last year I may have put too much pressure on myself, and the girls may have felt the added pressure because we knew we had a great chance at going to state,” says Myers.
