Second-chance points, turnovers cost WCHS boys in loss to unbeaten Dogs
It’s one thing to get beat by a good team.
It’s another to beat yourself.
It was a combination of the two that saw the Wichita County High School boys enter the Christmas break with a 61-54 loss to Syracuse (6-0) on the home floor last Tuesday.
“There were too many things we didn’t do well tonight,” said head coach Haydon Parks following the Hi-Plains League loss. “We gave up too many offensive rebounds, too many second-chance points and committed too many turnovers.”
