For a number of athletes playing in the Kansas Shrine Bowl, it’s the last time they will ever compete in a football game.
The annual all-star game is about pride. It’s about representing your school. And it’s about getting a win.
While those things never change, the Shrine Bowl puts football and life into perspective.
“At the beginning of the week we come here ready to play football,” says Scott Community High School graduate Wyatt Hayes.
