Spikers looking for consistency after rough tourney start

Lack of consistency was an issue throughout the day in Scott City’s season-opening volleyball tournament at Hays.

That wasn’t a surprise to head coach Shelby Kite following her team’s 2-3 finish for the day.

“Even though we have some girls with varsity experience, none of them are playing where they were a year ago,” says the head coach. “Better communication and learning how to play together are things we’ll have to figure out in the weeks head.”
