Summer camp gives McCleary time to adjust

Even with the opportunity to see most of his team playing last year as seventh graders, SCMS eighth grade head coach Skip Numrich sees a lot of value in their recent four-day summer camp.

It may have been even more valuable for Joe McCleary who was given an early heads-up that he’ll be playing fullback for the young Beavers this fall.

“We were able to spend a lot of time with Joe. Nothing’s going to be the same for him this year,” noted Numrich.
