Once the Scott Community High School boys decided to flip the switch, it didn’t take long to turn around their game against Cimarron last Friday.
With just two first half field goals and only four after the end of three quarters, one would have expected Tuesday’s game against Hays High School to be well beyond reach of the Scott Community High School boys.
When playing against a team the caliber of Hugoton, a defensive lapse for a few moments can turn the game around.
Too many costly turnovers eight in the first quarter alone - were more than the SCHS girls could overcome in a 59-50 home loss to Hugoton on Tuesday.
