The double team of Bella Myers and Sadie Hermosillo climbed another notch higher at this year’s Class 3-2-1A state tennis tournament, earning a seventh place finish following two days of competition.
After narrowly missing out on qualifying for the Class 3A state tournament a year ago, the Scott Community High School boys and girls have their sights set on regional titles when they travel to Lakin on Saturday.
The Scott City volleyball squad looked very good at times this past weekend.
Even with two of the top doubles teams in the area, there was no guarantee that Scott Community High School could repeat as the Class 3-2-1A regional tennis champions.
To say the Scott Community High School doubles teams were dominating during the first-ever Great West Activities Conference tournament would be an understatement.
