A perimeter game that has eluded the Scott City girls for most of the summer finally made an appearance in their final league game on Tuesday evening.
An 11-0 scoring run midway into the second half allowed the Scott City girls to pull away from Liberal for a 43-37 win in high school summer league action at Garden City on Tuesday.
Brodie Holstein and Connor Cupp were each triple gold medalists to lead the Scott City Stars when they traveled to Leoti on Saturday for Western Kansas Swim Club competition.
Summer is a time to build on one’s skills and perhaps make an impression on the coaching staff.
To say the Scott City Stars are a force to be reckoned with in the freestyle relays would be an understatement.
