There’s no doubt that the Scott Community High School football team is preparing for the upcoming season with a different mindset.
With a pair of third place finishes, Colborn Trout had the top performance among members of the Scott City Stars swim team which advanced to the Missouri Valley Districts held July 22-24 in Topeka.
The Scott City Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring its annual Tri-Yak-a-Thon on Sat., Aug. 13, at Lake Scott State Park. Registration is at 7:15 a.m. and competiton begins at 8:00 a.m.
