Five new teachers have joined the USD 466 (Scott County) staff for the 2026-27 school year.
Keri Crisler, Scott City, and Alliah Garza, Bazine, represented Lane-Scott Electric in the annual Cooperative Youth Leadership Camp (CYLC) held July 10–16 near Steamboat Springs, Colo.
Cally Cramer is the recipient of a $1,500 scholarship awarded by the Lane-Scott Electric Cooperative.
Similar to the more common livestock projects found within Western Kansas 4-H programs, the dairy project involves caring for and raising animals for breeding and production purposes, whether dairy cattle or dairy goats.
