it feels like home

Meyer ready to build on culture of excellence as SCMS assistant principal

T.J. Meyer didn’t grow up in Scott City, though one can’t blame him for feeling like he might have.

A native of Lakin, he watched his two younger brothers win state championships at Scott Community High School and he was a student-teacher and coach for a semester in the district.

“Having spent so much time here and with most of my family living here now, it’s felt like home,” says Meyer.
