SCHS scholars overcome rough start to claim 3A regional title

Cody Rutherford is the acknowledged geography and social studies expert on the Scott Community High School scholars bowl team.
So when the question was asked, “What French overseas territory did Japan invade during World War II?” the pressure was squarely on his shoulders.
“I knew it was either Cambodia or Vietnam,” said the SCHS junior.
