Scott City is ElectroRally state runner-up in solar, standard classes
A perennial powerhouse in Kansas ElectroRally racing, Scott Community High School was once again among the state’s best with runner-up finishes in both the solar and standard classes.
The state title is determined over a three race series which included stops in Hoisington, Scott City and Olathe that concluded on May 4. Rankings are determined by the top two finishes for each driver, in addition to a record book turned in by the team.
In the standard class, Angel Rodriguez finished as the runner-up at Hoisington and Scott City, along with a third place finish in the season finale at Olathe.
